PriceRunner Searches for the Savviest Shopper

Winner Named Honorary PriceRunner and Receives a Seven-day Vacation and Shopping Money!

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – May 22, 2006 – PriceRunner, an award-winning price comparison shopping engine, today launched its first Savvy Shopper Goes to Hawaii sweepstakes. One lucky winner will be named as the honorary PriceRunner of Hawaii and will win a seven-day vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii, for two, plus $500 for a shopping spree.

The contest runs nationwide* from May 22, 2006, to July 22, 2006, and the grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on August 1, 2006. As part of the sweepstakes, five other prizes will be awarded including a 30GB iPod® from the Apple Store.

The sweepstakes is easy to enter. Go to www.pricerunner.com/hawaii and become a PriceRunner member, this free service provides helpful shopping tips, shipping and tax calculators, price alerts, and much more. Then, to increase your chances of winning, complete a merchant review, a product review, or refer your friends by sending them a sweepstakes e-mail. Entries by mail will also be accepted.

While in Hawaii, the Savvy Shopper will be PriceRunner’s ambassador, and tasked to find the insight consumers need to make an informed purchase. The Savvy Shopper will embark on a quest to "pricerun" the absolute lowest offline prices for the most sought-after products from Hawaii's premier retailers. This information will be fed back to the PriceRunner comparison shopping site, which provides a comprehensive listing of both offline and online prices of consumer goods, and always lists the lowest price first.

"The Savvy Shopper identity is the essence of PriceRunner. When consumers use the Internet as both a research tool and a shopping engine, they become knowledgeable customers who make confident buying decisions," said Martin Andersen, general manager of PriceRunner. "PriceRunner is sponsoring this sweepstakes as a way to thank and recognize our customers for shopping and saving money online with us."
